EXTEDO has announced that they will sponsor the Department of Snow and Mountain Sports of TSV Unterhaching, a local community sports club. EXTEDO will offer comprehensive support for the club to facilitate their ski racing activities for young talents.

Munich, Germany - 18 January 2021 – EXTEDO, a leading provider of Regulatory Information Management solutions, will sponsor a community sports club in Unterhaching, Germany. TSV Unterhaching has been a community staple since 1910 and enables the local community and beyond to get involved in various sports, from Aikido to Volleyball.  EXTEDO will be sponsoring their snow and mountain sports division from 2021 and especially the promotion of youth in the field of ski racing.

The snow and mountain sports division offers training, excursions, and snow-sports activities for adults and children in the local community and the area south of Munich. Participants can climb, ski, or snowboard with qualified instructors and specialized gear, especially over holidays and weekends. The club accommodates beginners to professionals, travels to the best areas of the German and Austrian Alps, and offers training possibilities to their athletes all over the year.
“We are tremendously appreciative of the generosity of EXTEDO,” said Helmut Kopf, the head of the ski racing department for TSV. “With their support, we will be able to introduce our sport to even more young talents beginning at the age of 8 to promote them to be active, social, and engaged. It's a real boost for the ski racing community, where TSV Unterhaching sees an important task to offer children and young people a sporting perspective.”

The community sports club has played an essential role in inspiring people to get fit and encouraging public members to become active in their community. At the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the club continued to motivate the community with ‘workout from home’ activities and classes.
Martin Schmid, the CEO of EXTEDO, has highlighted the need for such organizations in local communities. “The work that TSV Unterhaching does is critical for a healthy and developing community. If we can promote the youth to be more engaged, active, and having fun, they’re likely to remain healthy and contribute to their society,” said Martin. “This is ultimately what EXTEDO is all about. We are very proud to be able to offer support to the TSV Unterhaching Ski Racing Team.”
TSV Unterhaching isn’t the only example of community support from EXTEDO. The Regulatory Information Management organization has supported Medicine Sans Frontier (Doctors Without Borders) for many years and has consistently acted as the benefactor for a local orphanage or Kindergarten every Christmas.
“EXTEDO’s growth is a direct result of the nation and community in which it began. Giving back to that community is our way of showing our appreciation and encouraging a better environment for all who live in it,” concluded Martin.
EXTEDO is expected to continue its local support and community outreach initiatives into 2021 and beyond.
